About GVO Safe Spaces

Our Mission

We are a collective of youth workers, musicians, writers, artists, producers, and educators dedicated to providing youth support services for young people aged 10–25 in Trafford.

We create safe spaces that are inclusive, allowing young people to express themselves creatively, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.

Led by young individuals, we facilitate community activities that include recreational games, creative arts, music, mentoring, and community-based programmes designed to enhance wellbeing, strengthen identity, and foster a sense of belonging. At GVO Good Vibes Only, we are committed to uplifting the youth in our community.

The mantra of our young people, and our number one rule, is to promote 'Good Vibes Only' (GVO Good Vibes Only). We foster this positive environment through peer-to-peer encouragement, respect, and pride in their community.

In Trafford, we actively raise awareness of critical issues affecting young people, such as child criminal exploitation and youth violence. Our youth support services are dedicated to prevention through education and community engagement, creating safe spaces for everyone.

All profits generated by the CIC are reinvested into projects and services that directly benefit young people and enhance the wider community.
